Detection Principle:
This kit employs PCR-Reverse Dot Hybridization technology. Biotin-labeled specific primers amplify the L1 region of the HPV genome and the β-globin reference gene. The amplified products are denatured and hybridized in liquid phase with type-specific probes immobilized on a cellulose acetate membrane strip. After stringent washing, a biotin-streptavidin colorimetric reaction is performed. The presence and position of blue dots on the membrane strip indicate which HPV genotypes are present in the sample.
